The objective of the Providence Public Works Dept was to plan, design, & implement a GIS solution focused on a Common Operating Picture (COP) and offers real-time situational awareness and the dissemination of vehicle location information. The solution leverages GeoEvent Servers and Verizon Networkfleet, allows assignment and tracking of work orders through the use of Workforce for ArcGIS and Collector for ArcGIS, and tracks key metrics through an automated process using the Operations Dashboard
