Story Maps, Waze, and More Help Drivers Navigate Major Freeway Improvements

I-405 is one of the most heavily driven highways in California. This essential artery required much-needed improvements to 29 bridges within the Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA) jurisdiction. The OCTA tasked Kleinfelder with keeping drivers apprised of project impacts while also keeping traffic flowing through an already congested area. The team leveraged multiple platforms, including a project website with Story Maps and the Waze App., all fed using ArcGIS Online (AGO) as a central hub.
