Real Estate Document Digital Transformation for Asset Management

Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), the nation’s sixth largest community-owned electric service utility, needed to implement a more effective system for managing its real estate assets. The solution was to develop a survey data supported Parcel Fabric GIS database representation of those assets and develop a plan for integrating that data into business processes, including integrating enterprise systems into a GIS web viewer for end users.
