Online Empowerment: Using LGIM Solutions to Enable City Staff

The City of Fredericksburg has fully embraced GIS as a system of record and engagement. Previously, the Department used paper and excel sheets to maintain signs, valves, hydrants, and waste cans. The previous workflow resulted in silos of information and inaccuracies of asset data. Esri LGIM templates were implemented, tested and users trained. These solutions provided “quick wins” which enabled stakeholders to see the return on investment in the GIS program.
