Using GIS to Estimate Jurisdictional Damages & Create a Common Operating Picture

During the 2017 California storm season it was challenging for California counties and cities to keep up with the amount of damages happening within their jurisdictions. Yolo County worked with ESRI professionals to create a suite of tools that can be used at various levels of governments to capture, edit and display damage data. This presentation demonstrates how Survey123 feeds data into web mapping applications designed for use by non-GIS, emergency management professionals.
