Enhancing USGS National Hydrography Mapping Through the NHD, WBD and NHDPlus HR

USGS national hydrography mapping is moving toward an open and interoperable system-based approach built on a nationwide NHDPlus HR framework with improved functionality for linking and discovering data. In addition to the system-based approach, this presentation will provide updates on the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD), NHDPlus High Resolution, and the Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD), as well as trends toward enhancing the interoperability of national hydrography and elevation data.
