Analyzing crashes in both space and time can help identify where and when most accidents occur. A new case study details an effective analytical workflow. Analyses are based on road network spatial relationships and incorporate temporal traffic patterns. The results, presented as both 2D and 3D maps, can help engineers develop crash mitigation strategies.
