The National Mutual Aid System: Using GIS to Improve Disaster Response

The International Association of Fire Chiefs, WebEOC, & Esri have partnered to develop the National Mutual Aid System (NMAS) to deploy & track first responder resources in disasters. NMAS is a standalone system that uses geospatial tools to request, locate, & deploy mutual aid resources. NMAS allows for mutual aid in minutes and routing, tracking, & data management of resources. This session provides an overview of NMAS functionality & how it can be utilized for planning & real-world response.
