ArcPy: An Invaluable Tool for Efficiently Analyzing UAS Mapping Dataset Accuracy

A study was conducted to investigate the effects that survey control type and ground control quantity had on resultant UAS-derived geospatial datasets (e.g., orthophotos, Digital Elevation Models). Faced with over 80 trials in need of spatial accuracy assessment and minimal prior experience with Python, ArcPy was seamlessly integrated into processing workflows to enhance efficiency in the evaluation of datasets in accordance with ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards for Digital Geospatial Data.
