Building a Heterogeneous Online Data Catalog

To maintain our growing biogeographic data collection available online, ensure their continuing availability and stability, and take advantage of latest GIS advances, we are migrating hundreds of datasets currently hosted on premise on ArcGIS Server to ArcGIS Online. We will present the strategy and automation processes for the migration, and discuss the need for combining different services and data sources to support analysis and visualization, and for a robust GIS data search functionality.
