New Braunfels Leverages Esri’s Flood Basemap to Improve Flood Response

The City of New Braunfels, TX is located in the heart of Flash Flood Alley. With the impending threat of flooding in the area, response to those events must be proactive, efficient and effective. There can be no time wasted during a flood response so the City incorporated Esri’s flood basemap to develop response plans that improve all phases of emergency management. Gone are the days of guessing where the flooding will be-replaced by predictive analysis using Esri’s inundation modelling.
