As exploration & production companies seek to generate value from existing assets, reduction of operating expenses is key. A major obstacle to utilizing autonomous pads and operate by exception models in oil and gas production is the lack of sufficient risk analysis. Chesapeake Energy has developed a process which utilizes proximity analysis models along with real time well site data to score wells and make these new operations methods possible.
