Creating a Framework to Improve the Re-Usability of Open Geodata in Cities

Open data has a profound effect on the working environment within which information is created and shared at all levels. At the local government level, those initiatives have resulted in a higher engagement between decision-makers and citizens. This paper, based on data collected through a survey, workshops with users, and interviews with Valencia city hall, 4 elements of a conceptual framework to improve the re-usability of open geodata in cities has been derived as a result.
