Augmented Reality (AR) and Location-Based Social Network (LBSN) are important study areas in the GIScience community. In this paper we discuss from theoretical and application-oriented perspectives how AR-integrated LBSN could enrich the GIScience research agenda in three aspects: data conflation, platial GIS, and multimedia storytelling. We concludes with guidelines in visualization, functionality, and ethics that aim to help users develop and evaluate AR-integrated LBSNs.
