The quality of the AM/FM/GIS applications is often one of the casualties of tight schedules and budgets. In this paper, the authors review the major components of an implementation/testing plan, and discuss various techniques used and lessons learned through several projects. A methodology for testing which provides adequate software QA without breaking the bank or the calendar is proposed.
