The Auditor's Office wants the public to be able to search for and print tax maps and associated parcel data using a GIS. An IBM mainframe-based parcel query application already existed at the County. The County linked their existing appraisal system with an ArcView2 application running on a workstation to create the Public Access System. This paper will discuss how the link between the two systems was accomplished and the user interface designed for this public counter application.
