Integrated Infrastructure Maintenance Planning with ArcView - Kuwait Experience
Kuwait has implemented an Integrated Infrastructure Management System to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of its maintenance programs. The IIMS develops priority programs for each of its major infrastructures types (e.g., roads, sewers, bridges, right-of-way features) using GIS based engineering analysis models. It also develops integrated priority programs that take into account the needs and requirements across different infrastructure types (e.g., roads and sewers). ArcView GIS provides an essential element in developing the integrated infrastructure maintenance plans.
