GeoCalc-Surveyors' Calculations Package for Direct Data Output into Esri's GIS Environments
Central and Eastern European countries have specific regulations for submission of survey data. Based on that, there were requirements for applications that process survey data in the way accepted by authorities. On the other hand, most existing applications covering these calculations were DOS-based, and most of them didn't support the continuous data production line from survey instruments to CAD or GIS output. GeoCalc answered those requests. In this paper, the GeoCalc package is presented with all its features. It shows the best way it is integrated into GIS data production.
