Meeting Different Jurisdictional Requirements with Land Records Software - The NovaLIS Core-Shell Model
Producing software products for land records presents a challenge common to many business applications: How to deliver commercial software which is relevant and easily adapted to clients' current business practices? In other words, people like the idea of buying off-the-shelf software, but need software that can operate within their specific legislative and operational environment. NovaLIS has addressed this challenge by developing a highly tailorable product suited for land records automation. The philosophy behind this approach is quite straightforward: we build software that allows the client to state how he or she wants to manage land records. The dictionary-driven structure of the product allows for site-specific object (data) models, user interface definitions, and business/workflow rules, based upon an open and integrated attribute, spatial, and imaging model.
