Regional Groundwater Pollution Susceptibility Analysis Using DRASTIC System and Linearment Density Paper Text

The DRASTIC system was used in this study that was developed by U.S. EPA and is widely used for evaluating relative groundwater pollution susceptibility by using hydrogeological factors. This study analyzed regional groundwater pollution susceptibility of the Youngkwang-kun area in Korea using the DRASTIC system. Hydrogeological factors used in this study were depth to water, net recharge, aquifer media, soil media, slope, impact of vadose zone, and hydraulic conductivity. For further accurate analysis, linearment density that is analyzed from linearment map is overlaid to DRASTIC system.
