Numeric Geological Map of Vistula Valley in Central Poland Paper Text

Marcin Zarski

The map presents the area along the Vistula River Valley. There are three types of landscapes: lowlands, uplands, and edges. Quaternary deposits cover the surface. There are glacial and fluvioglacial deposits in the uplands and river sands and muds in the valley. The map consists of three grids: topography, hydrography, and hypsometric, and ten coverages. This map was done with ArcInfo software and database of the 1:50,000-scale detailed geological map of Poland.
