R2V: Automated Map Digitizing Software for ArcInfo and ArcView GIS Paper Text

R2V for Windows 95 and NT is developed by Able Software for automated map digitizing and GIS data capture applications. It supports fully automatic vectorization and interactive line tracing from scanned maps, aerial photos, and satellite imagery. In this paper, we will discuss methods and algorithms developed and how R2V can be used to automate the map digitizing process and create spatial databases for ArcInfo and ArcView GIS applications.
