Developing Online Help System for Custom ArcView GIS Applications Paper Text

This paper will detail the issues involved in setting up a custom online help file with ArcView GIS from start to finish. It will examine the benefits of having customer application online help, highlight some tips in the help authoring process, and detail how to integrate the help file with ArcView GIS. It will also examine the role of online help for custom ArcView GIS applications, particularly in the areas of software and application support. Finally, it will examine the use of online help in supporting application training.
