Maryland Property Viewer is a 32-bit Windows 95/NT software application that provides the ability to access GIS data including Esri ArcInfo coverages and ArcView GIS shapefiles. The Viewer is an Esri MapObjects-based application. Some of the advantages of this application are the following: * Provides easy access to GIS information. * Provides a means for visual query. * Allows user to view satellite images, road maps, and rights-of-way backgrounds. * Some functions include database and spatial query, graphics identification, attribute retrieval/review, report/mailing label generation, and printing. * Supports raster files (SPOT satellite bil, tiff, bmp, rlc, Lan, Sun, etc.). * Requires little or no training. Maryland Property View data are available for all of Maryland's two million properties. There are over sixty fields of data for each parcel. Also, for all residential structures a database with over eighty fields exists. This MapObjects LT application has made access to this database affordable for all levels of users.
