GIS and Municipal Cemetery Management

Logan City has implemented the use of its GIS to modernize and manage its 40,000+ space municipal cemetery. This paper describes the process employed by the GIS staff, Parks and Recreation Department, Information Systems Department, and the City Recorder's Office in determining database design and mapping needs. It discusses some of the obstacles and solutions we came to in converting old processes to new.
