Providing Missouri Watershed Based Information on the Web using ArcView Internet Map Server Paper Text

The Center for Agricultural, Resource and Environmental Systems (CARES) is serving watershed-based information for the state of Missouri through the World Wide Web. Through the CARES Watershed Information Clearinghouse (CWIC) interactive access to data via ArcView Internet Map Server (IMS) can allow users to access and analyze spatial data without having to download huge datasets. CWIC provides links to federal and state watershed programs, local watershed associations and river network groups. CWIC also provides links to economic and environmental models and GIS aided watershed management tools.
