Using Street Address Routes in Infrastructure Management
Hamid SaoudianIn order to better relate and manage inventory and maintenance information on various components of Salt Lake City's infrastructure, street address routes were created using the dynamic segmentation feature of ArcInfo. Inventory and maintenance applications for different facilities were developed using PowerBuilder. The common link for all inventory information is the street address route. The linear measure along the routes is the street address coordinate.
