The CAGIS GEN Series ArcView GIS Interfaces for Local Government

The Cincinnati Area GIS (CAGIS) has been successfully implementing GIS on a massive scale. CAGIS has developed an ArcView GIS interface (the CAGIS GEN series) for local government services and data maintenance activities that consists of tens of thousands of lines of code that make integration and on-demand applications possible for desktop users. The GEN series seamlessly integrates a broad range of GIS technologies, document management, voice, video technologies, enterprise databases, digital orthophotography, and other software with interfaces that allow even the most casual users to be productive. It is being used daily by hundreds of employees throughout the local government.
