Kimberly Majerus
other authors will be included later

The integration of land management planning and implementation is the foundation of adaptive land management to support multiple objectives over the short and long term. Multiple disciplines and information types can be brought together and synthesized by linking together data and technology and science to accomplish sound and supportable decision making. Discussion will focus on approaches to adaptive land management, which considers dynamic ecosystems as the basis for land use and land management decisions. The presentation will include case study examples of the use of GIS linked with other data and technologies to achieve conservation goals on military bases.
