HydeTo use GIS effectively at the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, it is vital to have coordinates for all regulated facilities. This paper outlines the tedious steps used to collect these locations that balanced accuracy with costs. Some of the problems encountered include outdated databases, incomplete addresses, and nonlinked data. The methods used to accomplish this task were address matching and differential GPS.
