Ducks Unlimited, Inc., has worked with many government, private, and nonprofit organizations to map and model natural resources and migratory bird habitat. Much of the work our GIS team does takes place in California, Washington, Oregon, and Alaska. We use ArcInfo and ERDAS IMAGINE to perform much of the processing and analysis of remotely sensed and vector data. We use ArcView GIS to showcase our final products and models and to present past and present work to prospective cooperators. This paper describes how we use ArcView GIS with ArcView Spatial Analyst to integrate GIS and other related technologies for mapping natural resources across the North American continent.
