A Transportation Project in a Latin America Environment Paper Text

Latin America has particular issues that make the implementation of a GIS project a unique experience. This paper discusses how Esri software, together with the data (available or from surveying), is helping a Latin America government in the planning and implementation of a metropolitan transportation system based on buses and the role that GIS technologies will play in the operation of the system.
