CrimeView, a crime analysis interface for ArcView GIS, is a suite of integrated crime analysis tools that facilitate the accomplishment of both simpler and more complex crime analysis tasks. Automated tasks include incident and suspect reporting by various standard and user-defined geographies, crime density and repeat call investigations, and custom report and map creation. The Omega Group, an Esri business partner, has expanded the capabilities of CrimeView. The most recent developments of CrimeView include new statistical analyses and chart making functions. Potential users include any law enforcement agency that wants easy access to geographic crime analysis, reporting, and mapping of their data.
