Demographic Enabled Data for Health Care GIS

This session will describe the variety of demographic data available for use by health researchers and the methodologies used to estimate and project population growth. The presentation will also include illustrations of how demographic data can be accessed and used in a variety of health care analyses. Specific examples of customized data sets for health care planners and marketers will be shown along with a review of the data collection and processing plans of the Census 2000.
