State-wide Collection of Environmental Data - An Application to Quantify Environmental Indicators
John DefinaThe New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the United States Environmental Protection Agency have joined forces applying GIS to environmental site remediation. Using ArcView GIS to quantify and visualize performance-based measures of cleanup progress, the initiative seeks to shift program emphasis from "dollars spent" to an assessment of environmental indicators.
