Data Management, Mapmaking, and Cross Sectioning Tools for ArcView GIS and ArcView 3D Analyst

A set of mineral exploration tools for ArcView GIS and ArcView GIS extensions has been developed by Terra Solutions. The product includes data management, mapmaking, three-dimensional sectioning, and other utilities. Data management tools contain GIS metadata control, automatic searching and cataloging of GIS data, and saving of ArcView GIS presets with data. Mapmaking utilities include standard legends, automated layout tools, map gridding, symbol drawing, and other tools. Cross sectioning tools emphasize full-featured ArcView GIS-based drill hole cross sections, mine model data import filters, three-dimensional coordinate manipulation, surface profiling, and more. The tools, although developed for mineral exploration, are broad in scope and will also perform well in the petroleum industry.
