FENIX- The Prototype for the Army C3I System Containing GeoPres Version 1.2
Lars MauritzsonFENIX is a tactical information system built using the GeoPres API. FENIX is used to control information about its own and enemy forces and also integrates this information with the map. The user can work with the information both on the map and in a text view. By giving the end user a simple interface in one application, time and cost for training have been minimized. By using GeoPres API it has been possible to develop FENIX in a short period of time. FENIX is installed and used in the field base units of the Swedish Army.
