DATADICT - Data Dictionary Tool for ArcInfo

Data Dictionary is a set of AMLs that run within workstation ArcInfo to help the user prepare CSDGM compliant metadata. Like DOCUMENT, it is an intelligent metadata tool that automatically extracts metadata from a coverage including the projection, bounding rectangle, feature counts, attribute definitions, and attribute minimum and maximum values. It has a tool for building Enumerated_Domain lists for attributes or copying Enumerated_Domain values from a lookup table. A site information (SITEINFO) file with contact information and some distribution information must be customized using TABLES when the data dictionary is first set up. That boilerplate information is placed automatically into metadata output reports.
