Implementing a Land Titles System in the Yukon: A Project Management Perspective
Ross McLachlanThe Yukon has recently implemented a completely automated land titles system integrated with GIS technology. The unique character of the north has imposed some unusual requirements on this system. This presentation introduces the Land Information Management System Project currently ongoing in Canada's Yukon Territory and offers a look at future directions. A case study approach will be taken from the client's point of view. Topics covered will include the implementation of a land titles software solution, issues related to training and testing, and a technological product overview.
