Server-Based Routing and Scheduling

Esri has successfully combined its routing and scheduling technology with transaction process monitoring technology to provide server-based routing applications. The RouteServer can be easily integrated with legacy systems, such as mainframe applications, or existing UNIX applications. This approach has lowered the incremental cost for deploying routing solutions. When combined with IMS, the client application may consist of a Web browser. Examples from several deployments including a gas utility company and an insurance company will be highlighted.
