After the Published Digital Map Database of China

This paper presents an ongoing cooperative project to build a comprehensive hydrographic information system for a simulation foundation of the hydrographic network database for China (HNDC) nationwide. This database, including network linkage and flow direction of rivers, streams, and lakes, will provide a hydrographic simulation platform for many government organizations, agencies, scientists, and engineers from related disciplines for their research on hydrographic operations.
