Crime Analysis and Management Accountability

This paper highlights the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) management accountability process called FASTRAC. FASTRAC stands for focus, accountability, strategy, teamwork, response, and coordination. LAPD considers this program to be an advanced crime analysis tool in fighting crime and looking at risk management issues. This paper will be of use to law enforcement administrator's interested in administrative tools that incorporate GIS.
