MapObjects has been widely accepted as an open and effective programming tool for developing customized GIS applications. This seminar will demonstrate using MapObjects to access enterprise GIS published by MapObjects Internet Map Server. The MapObjects application integrates GPS, wireless communication, and ActiveX components to allow an enterprise GIS to be accessed from remote locations using a Web browser. Users in the field can perform real-time map/data retrieval and updating. The map display within the browser also changes dynamically according to the user location.
