The Louisiana Desktop Well Reference (LDWR) developed using Esri's ArcView 2.1 Data Publisher is a graphical well information system that incorporates well information and geographical information from State and federal databases for use by major oil and gas exploration and production companies, independents, land men, geologists, and engineers. The LDWR consists of a single CD that allows access to a State map with all well locations, well production, and well completion information from 1990-1996. Output features include basemaps, decline curves, and text reports that can be viewed on-screen, sent to the printer, or exported as an ASCII text file.
