The SIGAUR project (GIS and urban acoustics) associates the French Scientific and Technic Center of Building (CSTB) and the geographer GIS team named LAMASIG. Noise pollution is clearly recognized by public institutions. The use of a computer in outside acoustics allows running a noise propagation model and noise map. The object of our research is to test the integration of this new geographic information in country planning processes by way of GIS. A gateway is developed between ArcView GIS and an acoustic software.
