ActiveX controls, as well as client applications, can control a MapObjects ActiveX server and access the MoMap canvas. A C++ ActiveX control to be presented traces and navigates electrical feeders, then manipulates the MoMap and displays feeders on it. MoMap event invoked methods advise the linked control to update its display. The user ActiveX control invokes MapObjects methods through COM connection points. The components are paired together in both C++ and VB clients.
