Vojvodina is an autonomous province in the north of Serbia (F.R. Yugoslavia). The Institute of Geography in Novi Sad in 1981 started with a detailed geomorphological mapping project of this territory at a scale of 1:50,000. During those 20 years of making a map, many changes important for its final version happened. It was the age of electronic cartography development, primarily on the basis of GIS technology. Our Institute decided to finalize the project by publishing a digital geomorphological map of Vojvodina Province on CD-ROM.
