With the ongoing adoption of fully relational feature-level spatial databases, it might appear that the advantages of ARC/INFO LIBRARIAN were diminishing. However, when viewed as a tool for distributing and viewing data across a LAN in conjunction with ArcView GIS, ARC/INFO LIBRARIAN has several advantages. This paper will address those advantages for a consulting firm with multiple planning and design projects across a single metropolitan area including * Reusability of data through a non-project-specific structure * Ease of developing end user applications with ArcView GIS * New training opportunities for non-GIS staff in the use of spatial data
