The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) has developed an Internet address matching system for environmental data using Esri's MapObjects Internet Map Server (IMS) technology. This application provides the public easy Web access to a variety of environment- and pollution-related data. The public users can use this application to interactively display, query, and retrieve environment- and pollution-related data based on the addresses of their home, school, and churches. As an "EPA in Your Backyard" effort, this application provides the public users a wide range of online functionalities such as data layers overlay, flexible buffering, and Oracle database query links that are not available from other commercial Internet address matching Web sites.
