The application generates an up-to-date quick reference map book to pinpoint residential and commercial addresses, launched from a Windows NT desktop icon. The City is mapped by Digital Ortho Quarter Quad tiles at a 1-inch:5,000-feet scale to easily see individual addresses. The map book is generated through AML and FormEdit programming and resides as a desktop tool for periodic regeneration to dynamically reflect changes in thematic data. This product serves three municipal departments. The Fire and Police departments navigate to emergency locations by storing the hard-copy map book in their emergency vehicles, while Public Works answers maintenance calls using this map.
